Our Review

The PRIME sits between SBI's SimplyCLICK and Elite, and for many people it's the sweet spot. You get the same 5x on dining and groceries as the Elite, 8 lounge visits instead of unlimited, but at 2,999 vs 4,999 and a lower income requirement. The 4x on online spends is a nice addition the Elite doesn't have. If you spend heavily on groceries (BigBasket, DMart, Zepto) and dining (both Swiggy/Zomato and restaurants), the category earn rates make this card punch above its weight. The honest call: if you fly more than 6 times a year and need unlimited lounges, pay up for Elite. Otherwise, PRIME gives you 80% of Elite's value at 60% of the cost.
