Our Review

If the regular Vistara card is for casual flyers, the Signature is for serious Air India loyalists. The Business class ticket at 10L spend is the standout benefit — a Delhi-Mumbai Business class ticket is worth 25-40K, making the 5,000 annual fee irrelevant if you hit the milestone. The Vistara Gold status (now transitioning to Air India Flying Returns Gold) gives you priority check-in, boarding, extra baggage, and lounge access even without the card's Priority Pass. Important: Vistara merged into Air India in late 2024. Axis has indicated benefits will transition to the Air India programme, but the exact terms are still being finalised. Check with Axis for the latest before applying or renewing. The math works if you fly Air India 10+ times a year. For everyone else, the Axis Magnus (12x on everything) or HDFC Regalia (4x + better redemption) offers more flexible value.
